This Show Garden at RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show in 2015 was a collaboration between myself and two fellow designers, Amy Robertson and Wendy von Buren. We were awarded a Silver-Gilt medal and won the People's Choice Award for 'Best Small Garden', voted for by members of the public.
The garden was designed to mark 50 years of research funded by the charity Wellbeing of Women into issue affecting women's health.
Stepping stones marking each decade of the charity's work curved past a calming water feature to a seating area for talking and reflection. At the heart of the garden, engraved in the central stone, were the charity's words "Our Research for your Family's Future".
Plants were at the core of the garden's design. The planting was feminine and soft using medicinal and sensory plants which promote health and wellbeing, in purples, blues and whites to reflect the charity's logo.
